Emphasis of the program will be on exposure, not mastery. This is the first part of a two-year kindergarten program at Bowman School. All domains of early learning and development will be addressed: physical/motor, social/emotional, early literacy, language/communication, and cognitive development.
Program Goals

Assessment
Formal and informal assessments will be used to plan and to inform instruction, to identify student needs and to evaluate the transitional kindergarten program.
